Les Miserables

This post has been a long time coming considering I went to see les miserables in February. However, I lost my memory card therefore couldn’t put up a post about it! And who wants a post without pictures? No one. But not to worry the post is here now.
On the 20th of February me and my family (mum, dad, sister, cousins, aunt and uncle) travelled down to London town. To see les miserables in the West End! When we got there after a looooong journey, we went to the hotel and dropped of our bags before going to explore. We were going to see an evening show so we went to Camden for lunch and a wander.
I was SO excited for the show, les miserables is something I am obsessed with. I know SO much about it and get SO into it. IT IS MY FAVE. Going to see the show was one of my Christmas presents I received from my aunty and uncle. The show was AH-MAZING and everything I hoped for. The actors and actresses were wonderful and so talented. The music was amazing, the actors were amazing, the music was amazing, and the stage layout was amazing. Everything was JUST SO GOOD. After that we went to china town and had a big tea whilst all humming and singing I dreamed a dream;)

Have you seen a show before in the west end? Do you like musicals?

Essentials

Handbag Nica, Scarf unknown, Boots Topshop, Hat Newlook, Lipstick Bourjois, Scrunchies Accessorize, lip balm Body shop, Purse Accessorize, Umbrella Wilkinson, Notebook Wilkinson

March has begun! Which can only mean one thing, spring is coming! So today I thought I would share with you some of my ‘essentials’ that I will be using to bring me to the end of winter and to transition me into spring!
Obviously my fluffy snood and hat are to keep me warm and cosy because it is still chilly outside especially here in the UK. They both include raspberry tones which I love! Bringing me to my lipstick, the bourjois lipstick in shade 23 is a gorgeous pink raspberry shade which can be patted on for a toned down look or applied straight onto the lips for a bright cheerful impact! My brown boots I have worn nearly every single time I have left the house since I bought them. They are super comfy and literally go with everything. Scrunchies are a fun alternative to a boring bobble that also does not pull your hair. My purse is large and made from soft orange leather style material and fits everything you could ever need. My bag is orange also- can you tell I like orange? It is from Nica and I got it at the clothes show for a discounted price which is always great. Umbrella and lip balm are essential items for the unpredictable weather. And finally my notebook has a fox on it, how cute is that?! Too cute to resist not buying it.

Do you have any essential items that you always use?
Love Anna x

Christmas TAG

Since tomorrow is the first of December (arrghhh CHRISTMAS) I thought i would do the Christmas Tag as created by makeup-pixi3.

1.  Do you prefer a real Christmas tree or synthetic?
Real Christmas tres definitely. My Auntie always has a gorgeously decorated real tree - it is my dream tree, it is so magical!

2.  You're in a coffee shop, it's December, what do you pick?
I've never really had a Christmas specific drink, just because I don't really drink hot drinks as they don't quench my thirst. But this year I think I am going to try an Orange mocha from Starbucks.

3.  What’s your favourite colour scheme for decorating the tree?
I prefer a multi coloured, jewel toned Christmas tree. I don't think all one boring colour scheme looks nice, I prefer a bit of personality in Christmas tree, with personal baubles collected from different family trips of holidays:)

4.  Giving or receiving?
Finding THE perfect gift for someone is a great feeling and extremely exciting, and then you just cannot wait to give them it and see their face! But also I've got to admit that I love receiving gifts from m friends and family c'mon, who doesn't?!

5.  To mince pie or not to?
I have never ever tried a mince pie because the thought of mincemeat in a pie is g r o s s. But recently I found out was being completely stupid because that is gross and no one would do that, the filling is actually minced fruit; so I may try one this year, still a bit hesitant though...

6.  What's your traditional Sunday lunch?
My Sunday lunch is very much a smaller less extravagant Christmas dinner,  Christmas dinner includes a big roast turkey, pigs in blankets, roasted parsnips, and lots of other yummy foods all cooked by my mum on Christmas day.

7.  Christmas day fashion
On Christmas day I usually make more of an effort than normal as all of the family will be coming round and after all it is CHRISTMAS. Therefore I will be wearing a new item of clothing or I will wear a deep coloured dress or skirt as it is a bit of a dressy occasion.

8.  What's your favourite Christmas song?
My favourite Christmas song is Michael Buble's Christmas (baby please come home) Last year I first listened to this due to  my mum blasting out his album throughout December and now it is has actually taken the top spot! My other favourites include all I want for Christmas is you // Mariah Carey it’s such a lovely romantic song. And I also really like driving home for Christmas // Chris Rea its quite an emotional song that I thin alot of people can relate to, my dad says he listens to it coming home and it’s just so sweet and happy.

9.  What's your favourite Christmas film?
Hmmmmmm. I   really love the Grinch it is a classic. But also a new one I love is Arthur Christmas, it’s a great cartoon film that puts you in the Christmas spirit.

10.  Open presents before or after lunch?
Open presents straight away early in the morning! I don't personally know anybody that opens their presents at lunch??! I wouldn't be able to contain myself and my excitement!

I hope you enjoyed my Christmas TAG. I am soooooooo excited for Christmas, it is THE best time of the year, I cannot wait to start listening to Christmas songs and decorating everywhere!

What are you looking forward to this Christmas?

All Rimmel makeup for under £5??

No i do not jest, today i found a place where all Rimmel products were under £5!

Today whilst in town I popped into Boots surprise surprise. I originally went in for some collection lasting perfection concealer as currently that shade I have is too dark so I went for a lighter one. Anyway as many of you regular boots goers may know they have their 3 for 2 deal on, which includes all makeup. So naturally how could I resist. I picked up the collection lasting perfection concealer, the Rimmel scandaleyes waterproof kohl kajal in 005 nude, and the Rimmel glam eyes quad in 019 sun safari. The eye quad is gorgeous with 4 shimmery golden based shades, and the eyeliner perfect for in the waterline, to brighten up tired eyes.

Now for the bit you all want to hear about, the main point of my story. Next on my travels I went into savers and discovered they have all Rimmel products for under £5. Yes FIVE POUNDS. As you can imagine I was gutted after just buying the same things in Boots when they were here for under £5. Not only were all the products under £5 but also they had new shades and new products available! To put it into perspective the eye shadow quad was £6.99 in boots and about £5.00 in savers. The eyeliner £3.99 in boots and around about £3.50 in savers.
(These savers prices may vary within different stores in different locations.)

pick up these for under £5 at your nearest savers store!

As Rimmel are currently a very popular drugstore brand I thought I would share this fantastic deal with you all and help save you pennies which could be spent on more makeup? ;)

What’s your favourite Rimmel product?
